Fausto Muto starts today with his 1/72 Hasegawa F-104S.  Fausto used some resin detail items on his 1/72 F-104....and then finished it off with an amazing paint job. 


Constantin has been busy building his 1/48 Tamiya P-51D "Dora Dee".  You'll like this one......beautifully detailed and flawlessly weathered and finished. 


Aaron Hughes has done a fine job building his 1/48 Airfix Lightning T5.  Aaron converted his Lightning to a 2 seater using a conversion set and then finished it up very nicely.

   Dominican Republic Independence Day 

Eric Salazar starts your week with his first article on ARC.  This is his eye catching 1/48 Hasegawa F-15/CJ that he built mostly out of the box......it's a beaut.  Welcome to ARC Eric.   


Colin Whitehouse joins us with his bright red 1/48 Heritage Aviation De Havilland DH88 Comet Racer.  This is a limited run kit without the comet racer decals......Colin put much effort to get this red beauty complete and his article includes the fascinating history behind this pre-war aircraft that evolved into the Mosquito. 


Jenny Song is here with a flawlessly done 1/48 Academy Su-27UB.   It's a special treat to see Jenny's Su-27 on ARC.....this Su-27 is built with the skill of an experienced modeller.


Laurent Boildieu with his very nicely weathered 1/48 Academy Curtiss H-75.  This finely built French fighter fought during the battle of France in May 1940.  


I have a review of the new 1/32 A-7E Corsair II Desert Storm decal sheet from Cutting Edge Modelworks.   This decal sheet features my favourite US paint scheme from Desert Storm.


Radek Lhotsky is here with a review of the new 1/72 & 1/48 Japanese ZOO decal sheet from Rising Decals.  This sheet features captured Allied fighters in Japanese markings....including P-40's, P-51's and more.

Douglas K. L. Chan begins today's update with his tiny and highly detailed 1/350 Tamiya E-2C Hawkeye.  Don't be fooled by the tiny scale....Douglas has detailed this baby.  


Pavan V joins us with his 1/72 and Eastren Expresss MIG-21 BIS.  A fine looking MiG finished up in Indian Air Force markings. 

Friday,  Feb 24  2006      Estonia National Day  

Alan Williamson starts today with his 1/48 Tamiya MiG 15 bis.  Alan added a resin cockpit set and finished his MiG mostly out of the box after that.  Good to see Alan.


Darren McGuinness has put quite a bit of effort into his 1/48 Hasegawa Spitfire Mk.VIII.  Darren finished his Spitfire with scratchbuilt details and US markings and weathering....the end result came out very nice.   


Randy Foo has done a fine job building his 1/400 Hasegawa JAS Rainbow Boeing 777-200.  An attractive model with a very helpful article....I love the colours of the livery.

No update today.  I've been busy the past week finishing the gallery archiving.  I'll be archiving the final 10 or so articles today.

Emad Tabsh has created a new website devoted to his scale models at www.eftabsh.com   warning....this website has sound.

Creighton Henthorn starts today with his award winning 1/48 Hasegawa F/A-18A Hornet.  Creighton has done quite a bit of work on his Hornet and used a vareity of aftermarket items including Twobobs decals.  


Rafi Ben-Shahar has put quite a bit of effort into his 1/72 Revell Heinkel He-177A "Greif".  Rafi's He-177 is up to his usual high standard.......an enjoyable model to see. 


Eric Hargett has dropped by with his  1/48 Sukhoi Su-7BKL 'Fitter'.  Eric has stuck with this kit and completed a fine looking model.

Steve Ringlein aka madelf starts today with his 1/48 EA-6b Prowler.  Steve used the Cutting edge wingfolds and other resin items to detail his Prowler, then finished it with weathering techniques he learned from an  IPMS CLub member.   


Alain Conte has been busy building his 1/72 Heller P-38 Lightning.  This is a P-38 exciting through the center of a book.  You'll have to read Alain's article to fully appreciate the story behind this moving diorama.  


Jan Mikes has a special treat for you.  These are his 8 Sukhoi Su-30MKI Colour Profiles representing a variety of paint schemes from more than one country. 


Pere lliteras joins us with his 1/32 Revell Uh-1h Dustoff.  This model is to honor the Med-Evac choppers  and the brave crews that flew them.

Julian Schüngel begins the week with his 1/72 Revell H-34G and H-21C.  This is a selcetion of Julian's fine choppers in German markings.....including a photo from a German Museum.  


"Le Mau" joins us with his 1/48 Hasegawa EF-18A.  A fine looking Spanish EF-18A with a resin seat and some scratchbuilt details.


Laurent Boildieu has dropped by with his  1/48 Hasegawa Bf 109 G-10.  Laurent used some aftermarket detail parts and finished it all off with weathering to depict this "end of the war" fighter.   


Said 'Shark' Ordaz stopped by the ARC Corporate offices with his  1/48 Italeri KA-50 'Hokum'.  Said did extra detailing to his attack chopper.  Nice one Said.

Douglas K. L. Chan starts your Friday update with his 1/48 Hasegawa F-104G.  Douglas built his attractive German F-104 and finished it with an Eduard detail set.  


William Powell joins us with his 1/35 Trumpeter Mi-24 Hind-E.  This is a Russian Hind in the attractive camo schemes used by the Russians.  


Armin Knes is here with his 1/48 Revell MiG-25 RBF.  Armin did extensive work to corrent the accuracy on his MiG and then finished it in one heck of a nice paint scheme.

Everett McEwan has been busy super detailing his 1/48 Italeri U-2S "Senior Span".  Everett used some Cutting Edge resin items as well as his expert weathering to finish this beauty.    


Mark Davies joins us with his very nicely done 1/72 Czech Master Resin VEF Irbitis I-16.  Mark has provided some interesting background info on the I-6 and well as what was involved to build his model.


Alan Williamson is he with his beautifully finished 1/48 Hasegawa A-4F Skyhawk.  Alan didn't like the first painting job applied to this model so he stripped it and went at it again.....the results were well worth the effort.

Ted Taylor has been busy building his 1/32 TrumpeterA-7E Corsair II.  Ted built this one in his usual expert way and details the full job in his article with many in-progress photos.   


Hiran Horta joins us from Brazil with his very nicely done 1/72 Academy Me-109.   Hiran enjoyed building his 109 and talks about it in his article.


Bill Retoff has done an outstanding job building his 1/72 Airfix F-84F.  It's good to see Bill's F-84 on ARC.   


Rick Reinbott stopped by the ARC Corporate offices with his  1/48 ProModeler P-47N Thunderbolt.   Rick did his usual skilled job on his P-47.

Valentines Day....do something special for the one you love!!!

Si Tomlinson starts your Valentines Day update with his first article on ARC.  This is his 1/48 Hasegawa Hawker Typhoon Mk1b done up in D-Day stripes and detailed with seatbelts and aftermarket decals.  An attractive model....welcome to ARC Si!!!.  


Harrison Carmody joins us with his first article on ARC.  This is his 1/48 Academy Mig-29 Fulcrum with extra detail items in the cockpit and effective weathering.  Well done Harrison....welcome to ARC!!! 


Octavio José Garibaldo is here with his 1/72 Matchbox Avro Lancaster B.1.  This is an older kit but that didn't stop Octavio from finishing it up and producing a fine model of this famous Lancaster with quite the history.  


Dean Large joins us with his sharp looking 1/144 Revell B-52H.  Dean has completed quite the variety of models here on ARC.....it's always a treat to see his latest work.

  Tibet Independence Day 

Jean-Luc Caut begins the week with his 1/32 Tamiya F-16C.  Jean-Luc used  a resin cockpit and aftermarket decals and scratchbuilt detailing to finish his impressive Viper. 


Pere Lliteras has been busy super detailing his 1/48 Revell Bf-110 Nocturnal Bird.  Pere used aftermarket resin details to make this one fine looking model of the 110.  


Jan Mikes is here with a very special and unique model of his 1/48 Sukhoi T10-1 (The Very First Flanker).  Jan spent 10 months reworking the airframe on his model to get his model to look like the prototype.   Lots of work......but the finished model was worth it.

Johannes Kreutzer joins us with his 1/72 Revell Twin Mustang F.  Although this is an older kit,  Johannes did a very nice job on it and finished it in some very colourful markings.

Gabriel Stern gets things started today with his 1/72 Matchbox Handley Page Heyford.  A well done model with an article to go with it that is quite the amusing read.   


Said 'Shark' Ordaz dropped by the ARC Corporate offices with his 1/48 Lindberg MiG 31.  Said has a passion for Russian jets and this latest MiG has added detail to correct some kit shortcomings.

Laurent Boildieu starts  your Saturday update with his 1/48 Accurate Miniatures Yak-1b.  This aircraft has a sharks mouth which and weathering and added detailling. 


Nissim Tzukduian joins us with his 1/48 Hasegawa F-15C.  Nissim was busy added aftermarket detailing and scratchbuilt details to complete this beauty.

István Hevesi begins today's update with his 1/32 Revell F4F-4 Wildcat.  István did a pretty fantastic job on this one.


Jeff Hamel joins us with his 1/48 Hasegawa F-16AM "TigerMeet 2003".  This is one very nice Tiger Meet jet and the resin cockpit adds some very good detail along with the RBF tags.  


Julian Schüngel joins us with his 1/32 Revell Alouette II Heeresflieger.  A very well detailed example of this chopper in German markings.   


Steve Bridges dropped by the ARC Corporate offices with his good looking 1/32 Trumpeter F-105D ThunderChiefSteve added a good selection of aftermaket goodies to his F-105 from Cutting Edge and TwoBobs and others.


Ken Middleton is here with a review of the  1/72 F-4C First of the Weasels decal sheet from Two Bobs Aviation Graphics This decal sheet features the first F-4 Weasel squadrons from the Vietnam Conflict   


Marc Guerrero is here with a review of the  1/48 Classic Airframes Vampire with decals and resin conversion set to make a French Mistral (Vampire) from Contact-Résine.    


I have a review of the  Petljakov Pe-2 and Pe-3 book from HT Model Magazine.  Another fine reference book from this well respected company.

Alan Williamson gets things started today with his 1/48 Hasegawa F-16B Fighting Falcon.  Alan did a fair bit of sanding and filling on this kit to get certain areas to fit and he tells about this in his article.  

Ramses M. Montes has put quite a bit of effort into his 1/24 Trumpeter P-51D "Red Tail Mustang".  Ramses did extra detailing in his P-51 to get it looking right and then finished it off in the markings of the legendary Tuskegee Airmen.  

Haroon Hamid joins us with his attractive 1/48 Academy Mig-21FL Type 77.  This is a special Indian Air Force fighter that shot down an F-104 and Haroon tells about this in his article.  

Alex Campbell is here with his good looking 1/32 Hasegawa Hellcat F6F5.  Alex tells about building this big model in his article.

Chris Busbridge begins today's update with his very well done 1/48 Hobbycraft Grumman F8F-2 Bearcat.  Chris used a big selection of detail items on his Bearcat to get the more detail.   


Scott C. Schuyler has been busy building his 1/48 Tamiya F-117 Stealth.  Wow...Scott used quite a few techniques on his F-117....he talks about them in his article.  


Alejandro Núńez "Marseille" joins us with his 1/48 Czech Models Me-309Alejandro did a lovely job finishing his Me-309 in a "what if" scheme.  


Armin Knes stopped by the ARC Corporate offices with his  1/48 Hobbycraft MiG-17 F.  It is always a treat to see Armin's latest Russian jet on ARC and this MiG is no exception. 


I have a review of the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt "Bubbletop" book from Mushroom Model Magazine.  This is quite the nice book and will interest P-47 modellers.

Hank Gruben starts today with his attractive 1/48 Airfix Spitfire Mk. 24.  Hank is very fond of this kit and his article gives plenty of info about building it.


Seb91 has been busy building his 1/72 Hasegawa F-14 Tomcat NSAWC "13".  This sharp looking F-14 was built with a resin detail set and parts from other F-14's and aftermarket decals. 


Hiran Horta joins us from Brazil with his  1/72 Tamiya Corsair.  Hiran tried some new techniques when he built his worn and weathered Corsair with good final results.


Alejandro Núńez "Marseille" has been very creative building his 1/1200 app. Scratchbuilt Space Cargo Ship.  The end results looks fantastic.

Manuel J. Armas S. begins the week with his 1/48 Italeri F-15E Strike Eagle.  Manuel took this kit and overcame it's problems and built a beauty.   


Sinuhe Hahn stopped by the ARC Corporate offices with his  1/48 Tamiya Dornier 335. Sinuhe has more than one Do-335's in his article....all in captured markings.....always a treat to see Sinuhe's models.  


Mario Serelle is here with his beautifully built 1/72 Tamiya F4D-1 Skyray.  You'll enjoy this one.


Vince Lucente has been busy building his 1/48 Accurate Miniatures P-51A Mustang.  Vince built this Mustang with excellent skills and then weathered and finished it very well.

Eric Lowe has been busy building his 1/32 Tamiya F-15J Shiro Ruyu.  Eric used the Twobobs decals and Cutting Edge seamless intakes with some first rate modelling skills.

I spent a number of hours Thursday reformatting the ARC home page to get it to look better in all computer screen resolutions.  Just more of that behind the scenes stuff that improves things but is mostly un-noticed.


Gabriel Stern starts today's update with his 1/72 RPM Beriev Be-4 (KOR-2).  As usual Gabriel's article is a very amusing read.....this is one nasty kit to build.   


Michael Frazier is here with his big detailed 1/12 Block 50/52 F-16C Cockpit.  Very cool!!   


Laurent Boildieu joins us with his 1/48 Hasegawa P-38 J Lightning.  This particular P-38 served in China.   

Haroon Nadeem is here with his 1/48 Italeri Mirage IIIE  in PAF markings.

István Hevesi begins today's update with his 1/48 Monogram B-29.   István's B-29 has a multi-shaded bare metal finish and was built out of the box with the exception of the aftermarket decals.

Rafi Ben-Shahar joins us with his 1/48 Hasegawa F-14B.  Rafi did some very realistic looking weathering on his attractive looking Tomcat.  

Julian Schüngel is here with his 1/48 Revell Bell UH-1D "SAR-71 Hamburg".  Julian includes background history on his good looking German search and rescue helicopter.

Rob Knox is here with his  first article on ARC today.  This is his 1/32 Tamiya F-16CJ.  Rob is big on detailing.....and you'll see that on his F-16.  Welcome to ARC Rob!!!

Phi Ho joins us with his first model on ARC.  This is his 1/48 Tamiya A-1H Skyraider in markings for the VNAF.  This is beautifully built with perfect weathering and excellent photos as well. 


Darren Roberts stopped by the ARC Corporate offices with his  1/48 VF-33 Tarsiers/Starfighters History.  Darren goes into the history of VF-33 and includes 4 of his models of 4 of the aircraft flown by VF-33.


Massimo La Civita is here with his 1/48 Smer Fiat CR-32Massimo did extensive scratchbuilding to improve upon this basic kit.....with very good results.
