Reminder....2007 Region 4 Model Expo and Contest, Pittsburgh, PA March
30-31 2007
The region 4 model contest and convention will
be in Pittsburgh this year. They have the Holiday Inn near the airport
reserved and ready to go for the 2 day extravaganza. There will be a
bunch of great vendors, some even coming from the other side of the
pond (thats the UK) and they are also setting up a bunch of great
seminars that will be going on during the show. Judging is modified
open judging, which basically means that each model is judged on its
own, not in comparison with the other models at the show, but with
how well that individual model could have been completed. As a
result, there are more prizes given to deserving models, and people
seem to enjoy the process more. If our local shows are any
indication, this event will be alot of fun and definitely worth a
road trip. For more information visit the Three Rivers IPMS club
site here.
They hope to see a bunch of ARC guys there, maybe go grab a beer or
whatever your drink of choice is between day 1 and 2.
