Tolga Ülgür
starts today with a very famous P-51B. This is his 1/48 Tamiya P-51B Mustang “Shangri La”
in the markings for Don Gentile’s
“Shangri La”. Tolga used a variety of highly detail
after market parts and decals to complete this masterpiece.
The weather paint job is a joy to see...Tolga definitely has a huge
amount of skill when it comes to painting and weathering.
Enjoy his pics.
|
|
|
|
|
Dragan Cvetic
has done an
amazing amount of detailing on his 1/72 PM Models SU-15TM of the Soviet VVS.
Dragan completely rescribed his model and then scratchbuilt a
cockpit and nose gear bay and added detail to other areas of his
model. Dragan is a master when it comes to detailing his 1/72
jets. |

Goddet starts today with his brightly coloured
1/72 Hasegawa Sukhoï Su-27 Russian Knights. Jean-Charles
dressed up his Su-27 with photo etch and displayed the
cockpit with the canopy open to show off the cockpit
detail. The decals were a combination of Hasegawa
and Begemot decals. This is one great looking
Russian Knight...well done Jean-Charles. |

Mark
L. Rossmann is here with something quite unique
today. This is his 1/48 Monogram C-47
"Indochina C-47" in French markings.
Mark tells the history of this transport workhorse as
well as what was involved to build his and display it
with the rear door open. I love the scratchbuilt
work Mark did with the rear door......it looks
perfect. It's always a special treat seeing
Mark's latest model on ARC. |

Shawn "phantom" Weiler
is here with one of the best looking Phantom camo schemes in my
humble opinion. This is his 1/48 Hasegawa F-4E Phantom #181
finished off in the Hellenic Air Force Aegean scheme.
Shawn finished the wing drop tanks in the older green camo scheme to
add a touch of real life to his Greek F-4. You just can't go
wrong with this camo scheme.
|
|
|
|
|
Carmel J. Attard
is here with another of his vac-u-formed beauties. This is
his 1/72 Aircraft in Miniature Casa 212 finished in US Coast
guard markings. Carmel added a scratchbuilt cockpit and then
dressed up his model with the multi-media smaller detail
parts. I was surprised by the decal options for this kit....it
is a large and varied selection, but I think this USCG version will
look good in Carmel's display case next to his other USCG
birds. Nicely done Carmel.

This MiG-29 has a full weapons load and a very subtle and
effective weathering job that brings this model to life.
Beautiful work indeed. |

Kees Kuyper
is here with his latest design.....this is his "Mustfire"
or "Spitang". Have you ever wondered what a
Mustang would look like with Spitfire wings? Well wonder no
longer....Kees is here to show you his custom what-if fighter.
Considering the Mustang used the Packard built Merlin engine....this
design isn't too far fetched. Enjoy.

Michael's 1/48 Hobby Boss Dassault Mirage III Cz in the
colours he recalls from airshows in his younger days in South
Africa. Michael built this one out of the box and explains the
colours he used for the unique SAAF camo scheme. Welcome to

Burt Gustafson
is here with his 1/48 Hasegawa Kawasaki Ki61-I Hien as it
appeared in 1945. This kit is interesting because it also
includes the car seen in Burt's diorama. I've always admired
the look of the Hien and Burt's Ki-61 looks excellent with it's ace
pilot figure Lt. Chuichi Ichikawa posing with his aircraft during a
moment in history. Beautiful build Burt....it's good to see
your "Tony" on ARC.

Jens Gerber
starts today with his sharp looking 1/48 ICM Petljakow Pe 2
in winter camo. Jens built his model with the engine showing
and used some artistic freedom when doing his winter camo
scheme. I like the look of his model...it turned out looking
very good. Jens has included some tips to help you avoid the
few tricky areas when building this ICM kit. It's a sweet
looking Pe 2 Jens.
|
|
|
|
|
Luc Harvey
has done a stellar build on his 1/72 Fujimi MiG-21bis. Luc
added some extra details and then chose a great looking camo scheme

Here's a product article
for the 1/32
CF-18A Hornet 'Battle of Britain' Scheme decal sheet from
Canuck
Model Products.
This CF-18A was repainted in World War 2 style camouflage and
markings to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Canada's
participation in the Battle of Britain. The Academy F-18A
boxing #12107 or Kinetic #K3204 is recommended as either includes
the parts required to build a CF-18A++ aircraft.
I'm a
big fan of the BOB and this CF-18 has caught my eye....I love the
look of it.

Rodrigo Caselli Belem
has done a perfect job building and finishing his 1/48 Italeri SBD 5
Dauntless. Rodrigo did some excellent work in the cockpit
and then finished his Dauntless in markings from Marshall Islands in
1944. This Dauntless has the dive flaps dropped and has bombs
loaded for it's next mission. I love the exhaust stains and
weathering on Rodrigo's Dauntless.

Emre Tuzun
is here with his 4th model on ARC and what a great build of this
classic kit this is. He took the 1/48 Revell A-37A Dragonfly
and added some True Details photo etch and some scratchbuilt
details to make this a epic looking build of this older kit. I
like the addition of the photo etch....it does a fine job dressing
up the Dragonfly. |

All 4 are wearing Canadian markings and feature a variety of
markings and camo producing a very good display. Shawn has
certainly been busy building Starfighters recently...I know you'll
enjoy seeing all 4 of these. |

Alacran
built a great looking Chilean 1/72 Italeri Sikorsky S-55C helicopter.
Alacran added Eduard photo etch and then did extra work to make this
a more accurate Chilean H-55 complete with weathering. This is
one sweet looking model of this classic chopper. |

Happy Ground Hog Day.
A Canadian Ground Hog named "Winnipeg Willow" died in the
past 2 days...if a groundhog dies...does this mean the Canadians
will get 6 more months of winter? Hopefully Punxsutawney Phil
will be kinder to Americans.

Jean-Charles Goddet
has done a first class job on his 1/72 Hasegawa Boeing F-15SG RSAF.
This is a Republic of Singapore Air Force F-15 using
Miliverse decals and special features specific to the RSAF such as
conformal fuel tanks and other details before finishing it off with
a gentle weathering job and a weapons load. This one looks
perfect Jean-Charles. |

stunning model it is. This is his 1/48 Kinetic F-16D Blk 52+

His Corsair is a beauty with it's folded wings and sexy noseart.
