Model show this weekend:

Rafi Ben-Shahar starts today with an early Israeli fighter.  This is his 1/32 Roden Stearman IDF with a skillfully applied camo scheme that is faded from the strong sun.  Rafi gives a good explanation of his build process.  I never knew the IDF operated this type of aircraft.

Shawn "phantom" Weiler has done an amazing job weathering his bare metal 1/48 Hobbycraft CF-100 Mk IV.  Shawn used aftermarket decals for his Canuck and I'm also pleased to say he included photos of his other CF-100 models, which is very cool to see.

Carl Jarosz gets things started today with his colorful Arizona ANG 1/48 Italeri F-86E Sabre.  Carl chose a bare metal jet and finished different areas with a variety of bare metal tones to better represent the real jet.  It is good to see these ANG jets on ARC and the colorful markings of this time period are artwork in their own right.  Thanks for showing your F-86 Carl.

Tony Feredo has dropped by the ARC corporate offices in the Philippines with his recently finished 1/48 Tamiya Ki-46 Dinah.  Tony was busy doing a conversion on this Dinah to make an aircraft that was based at Marikina Airfield, Luzon, Philippines on December 1944.  His paint work gives his Dinah a great looking faded look as you would expect to see in the tropical sun of the Philippines.  I love Tony's subject matter with a Philippines connection.

Rafael is here today to continue the commemoration in 2020, of the 100 Year Anniversary of the Venezuela Air Force with his 1/48 Testor F-5A Freedom Fighter.  Rafael gave his F-5 a weathered camo look and chose markings with some great tail art.  Very nicely done Rafael.
